Symbols in Design Variation

How do I get a symbol to update when placing it in a design variation?  I have a PD chip that needs to be different in two models.  I can get the part number to change for each model, but the symbol will not update for each model.  Is there a way to do this?

  Hello Carol,

  If you are looking for within the same Ref but different symbol for different destination(variation) then current DG cannot do that.

  You would need to place different symbols with different Ref and set no-mount for specific destination.
