CR-5000 Error

    Hello Jocob,

    Sorry for late reply on this.

    The cause of this error, normally from ping is not go through.

    Please try following steps.

    1. Run a "sweeper" from Command Prompt several times until you only get following 2 lines.
         "No error finished clean up processes."
         "No error finished clean up files."
       Then try open CAD File Manager.

    2. Try delete "%HOME%\cr5000\sys\.bfminit" file if it exist.

    3. Check your Firewall setting.  For System Designer use, following program need to allow go through Firewall.
       Install Directory\programs\zsys\bin\bmsmain.exe
       Label:  BMS server

    4. Check to see ping will go through or not.
       a) From Command Prompt, do "ipconfig /all > c:\temp\ipconfig.txt".
      Using information in the "c:\temp\ipconfig.txt" do following steps.
       b) From Command Prompt, do "ping -4 Host Name".  Check the return IP address and ping will go through or not.
       c) From Command Prompt, do "ping -6 Host Name".  Check the return IP address and ping will go through or not.
       d) From Command Prompt, do "ping -4 IP Address".

    If ping is not go through, then please work with your IT to figure out setting for ping to go through.
