Importing Cut off/Blunt cut Wires

Is there a way to import wires that are only connected to one connector while the other end is cut short or not attached to anything? Would I have to make a Cut off/Blunt cut component to attach to the other end of the wire to import properly?

  Could you be more specific about "Import wires"? From where into what?

  I am importing from an Excel file using the Import Excel file feature of Harness Builder.
