CR-8000 Design Force - Reuse group of components and tracks without schematic blocks

Hi,

I have two or more similar groups of components and connections in schematic. I place and route one of them and want to reuse it in layout for the other groups. Is it possible without creating blocks in schematic?

  Hi Timothy,

  Please have a look at command Place Using Template to replicate the component placement based on your first "block".

  Thanks Mike,

  I had another look at that command and realized that the target components had to be placed outside of the board area first.
  Now it works! I'm learning more and more all the time.
