Board viewer

I' looking for a board viewer software which should have the following features:

- search for single signals (highlighting them even on different layers)
- search for single parts (highlighting and arrow)
- search for single pads/balls (e.g. FPGA with 676 balls)
- saving different layer setups
- highlighting of all parts of a specific type
- setup mirror view with regarding layer setup
- show parts simultaneously in schematic and layout

I am currently using the Board Viewer 2019.000, but I am absolutely dissatisfied with it.
I need something better to do my job here. Is there any solution?

  Hi Charles,

  We do have a product called Board Viewer Advanced.  It is the big brother to the free board viewer tool.  It is an add on tool so it is a cost option.  These are the features:

  • Importing design and manufacturing rule check results
  • Support for graphical comparison of two designs
  • Support for cross-probing with Design Gateway, Circuit DR Navi and other CR-8000 products
  • Flexible and configurable layer and net display control
  • Reports on placement status and trace length
  • Design feedback reflected automatically in layout
  • Multiple user design and review access
  • All features available in the free Board Viewer
