Hi Guilherme,
If you are trying to save from an .e3s file created from E3.dbe, you can open that file in the database editor and save each as you would when creating/editing components, symbols and models. Just check that the database you want the items to be saved in is selected before saving.
This will not work if you are referring to a project .e3s file.
Kind regards,
Laura Mirto

I'm looking for something similar. Also, not sure I really understand what Laura said...
I'm looking to "extract" all symbols/components from a projet, and save them in our database. We only have the .e3s project file. When I open it, I can't insert symbols in the project from our database as we don't have one. I would like to extract all symbols/components from the project to build our database. From there, we could create our own symbols/components and modify the project with those.
Please note that we just bought E3 and are not really familiar with it. The project we have has been delivered as schematics for a special vehicle that we bought and will have to maintain/modify in the next 30-40 years.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
