    Hi Jeff,

If your library is set up so that the component origin is in the center of the part, you can use the Report Generator and run the Placement.rgf.  To do that, with the PCB design open, click on the Report tab, and then Report Generator icon.  After the Manage Reports dialog opens, click open, and you should see a list of available reports.  Select Placement (or Placement2) and Open.  You can then run the report and save the results.

If your parts have the origin on a pad, rather than the center, you will need to modify the Placement.rgf.  You would start by opening the report, and then you will need to modify the report by double clicking the command Component.Position X, and then replacing Position X with Centre X.  Do the same for the Y coordinates.  There are several instances of each, for top, bottom, etc, so you will need to modify all of those instances.  Using the Centre position will take the silkscreen or placement outlines, and calculate the center position of the component.  You can then perform a Save As and give the report a new name so you can easily use the report again.

    Best regards,

    Pat Duran
