  • Hi Rakesh,

You can start with very basic script like printing all devices found in the project.. To create the VBS script you can use any text editor like Notepad++ or Edit Plus. In the help section you can find all classes and methods with many examples. Just Google to search info about standard Visual Basic scripting technology..
Just ask if you need further support.
    Good work and happy coding!

  • Unfortunately, there is no online tutorial specifically for E3.  The Help does a good job at listing all a methods for every object type.  If you have some general programming knowledge, it is not hard to pick up.  The basic algorithm, at least for me, is the same:

    1. Connect to the application and create a Job object.
    2. Set objects for any E3 device types you want to use in your scripts.
    3. Gather all device ids of a specific type into an array. (ids = Job.GetAll.....Ids)
    4. Loop through that array, SetId of the current element, and do something to it.
    5. Repeat steps 3 & 4 for any additional E3 object types.
