Creating a database
Hi, I'm a fairly new user of Zuken. I have a question about the Default database that is used with Zuken e3 (electrical). When I try to create a new component, the default database opens as read-only, is this something Zuken does? Can I not edit the default database to add my own components?
If this is the case, how do you create a new database for new components? Zuken e3 did a good job at not making it very intuitive. Essentially I would like to create a new component in the default database given, however if this cannot be done I would appreciate any guidance on how to create one.
Thx!

I also have this question. Should I create a new database when creating a component or should I write to the harness builder database? Thanks.

It would probably be best to make a copy of the Zuken Harness Builder database and connect to/make changes there. There is no special copy method, just copy and paste the MDB file.
