Disabling Snap

I am very new to E3.  In AutoCAD you can turn the SNAP command on and off with the "F9" keyboard button.

Is there an easy way to turn SNAP on and off in E3?

It would be helpful for placing text in small areas of our title block.

  Hi Gary,

  The easiest way to get the functionality you're looking for is to set the alternative grid size to 0 by going to the Tools>Settings>General window. The system uses the alternative grid setting whenever the user holds the Ctrl key.
