Inserting Attributes of Other Components into Another Component's Properties

I am using 2016 E3 Cabling and am creating a connector table in it.  I am trying to automate the information in the tables as much as I can without manually entering the information.  Is there a way to display an attribute from another component into the existing component?

An example that I have is for my connector table I want to bring in the attributes of the terminals and wire seals that I am using in the connector.  Can I do that using E3 Cabling?  I know I can do it by adding additional attributes for the connector, but I would rather have it automated with the existing components already in the database.

  Hi Brent,

  Currently you cannot do this automatically in the software with a connector table. You can get some of the information with standard attributes. But most of the information there because it's related to another component you would need a script to run to populate. If you wanted it automatically to populate, then you would need a trigger script to auto-populate the fields.

  There are some new features coming out in 2017 for seals so that may help in getting information into the tables.
