Disabling Snap
I am very new to E3. In AutoCAD you can turn the SNAP command on and off with the "F9" keyboard button.
Is there an easy way to turn SNAP on and off in E3?
It would be helpful for placing text in small areas of our title block.
THANKS

Gary,
There are 2 grid settings possible in any project. I usually set the alternative grid setting to be really low. The grid setting for Library parts can be set-up the same way for symbols, components and models.
The alternative grid is enabled by the CRTL key. While the CTRL key is pressed E3 uses the alternative grid which can be used to place text or any object.
I would recommend setting the alternative grid to 'Zero' if you want no snap or a very small number usually a multiple of your grid size

For grid settings, press 'S' key to bring up Settings dialog. In the Categories tab, click on General. Grid settings appear at the top.
